Training

From  the 6th July 2009 onwards regulations contained in the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006 came into force, which now means that at least one person who has been trained to FAS CSCS level in “Health & Safety at Roadworks” must be on site at all times if construction work is taking place that interferes with the public road / footway and for the Installation, Altering or Removal of Roadwork Signs, Cones, Traffic Lights etc. at least one person must be present on site who has been trained to FAS CSCS level in the “Signing, Lighting & Guarding of Roadworks”.
